Another Ogden Cami

This pattern has quickly become a firm favourite of mine. I love everything about it. This time I chose our gorgeous Atelier Brunette Stardust Black Double Cotton Gauze. Its perfect for the hot weather we are currently having in the UK and perfect for layering in the colder months.
I wanted it to be a touch roomier so I sewed it up on a 3/8 seam instead. With it being gauze and quite a delicate fabric that can sometimes like to fray as a precautionary measure I overlocked all the edges I could once I had done all the staystitching to minimise any further fraying.
The tiny straps can be a bit of a pain to make up. I have tried the loop turner method, the overlocker method and sewing the seam and leaving a long train of thread and I think I prefer the latter method to making these straps.
I'm so pleased with how this one has turned out. It is a more comfortable fit this time and I absolutely love the fabric. Its so lovely to sew with and it feels gorgeous to wear. I intend to make a dress hack with the pattern at some point with another gauze as I really love wearing gauze and its perfect for the current weather.
